We are a team of individuals from a small town in the pristine Lima valley (Val di Lima), surrounded by the Apennine mountains, medieval villages and clear blue streams.
With a deep appreciation for our culture, traditions, and hidden gems our region has to offer, we curate unforgettable travel experiences and bespoke packages that go beyond the ordinary across Val di Lima and the famous province of Lucca.

What is Gira e Sole?
Gira e Sole is inspired by the word ‘girasole’, meaning ‘sunflower’ and ‘turning towards the sun’, just as sunflowers do.
We chose the name to reflect Tuscany’s iconic flower and our business focus: travel and sunshine.
Sunflower fields in Tuscany are a sight to behold stretching as far as the eye can see, and become alive with colour particularly during the summer months from late June through August, creating stunning landscapes typical of a Tuscan summer.
Beyond their aesthetic appeal, sunflowers play a practical role in Tuscany’s agricultural landscape. They are often cultivated for their seeds, which are harvested for their oil – a staple ingredient in Tuscan cuisine.
Additionally, sunflower fields contribute to the region’s biodiversity providing habitats for various wildlife species and supporting the local ecosystem.
Tuscan lovers will be aware that sunflowers hold a special place in the Tuscan fields.
